| Looking for a music partner? |
|       |
If you are into R&B, soul, funky, and hip-hop music, and would benefit from a companion with
vast opus of composition, tunes, both finished ones and fresh, yet-to-be-defined ideas,
some with lyrics, and some awaiting for words to be put into, maybe you are looking for
me
(email) .
I am a proficient keyboardist with a knowledge of soul and funky style harmonies, and also with a special talent for good melody and bass lines, and solos (improvisations). And there's nothing I would want to meet more than a music partner of the same basic influence (Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, Niles Rogers, Quincy Jones, George Benson, Aretha Franklin, Will Downing, to mention a few...) who is a good, "black sounding" vocal, can play guitars and perhaps some other solo instruments.   Please note that the styles and artists mentioned are constant inspiration for the modern top-40 music.   Of course, my intention is to follow the ever changing new trends of music arrangement and production, but to me a good song, with nice harmonies, rhythm and melodies, will always be that most worthy, basic building block of the final musical product. |
The everlasting value of a good song can be easily illustrated by numerous remakes of the
"good oldies" that are made these days. I would say that this shows the constant need for really good
new originals. Am I capable of writing such songs? I'd be more than glad to present you my songs, which
usually need just a touch of top production and a nice vocal presentation.
If you've been to music production, and ever wanted a companion that would fit right into the style of music that you are doing, and would fill in just all the things that you cannot do yourself, then you know what I am talking about. And U.S. seems to be the best country for the styles that I am in.   Besides music experience, I would also brig all my technology, electronic and scientific knowledge, as well as computer expertise to the partnership.   Add to the above my big collection of analog synths (more than 20 items) that I'm so proud of, including such legendary models as Minimoog, Arp Odyssey, Roland SH-7, Jupiter 4, MKS-80, Trident MK-II, Matrix 12, Prophet VS, etc...   Does this sound OK to you? Then please leave me a note. |
