Korg MS-20	Exhibited at Robert L's Analog Synths
To KORG List & Prices	Korg MS-20 -- a legend on the rise! It is good to start by saying that this is one of the most sought after analog synthesizers today. Why? It's not hard to guess. Just look at it and you'll know the answer. It looks nice, it looks retro, and it is a clever combination of the fixed patching and modular approach. So it's almost the only synth on the market that will enable you the kind of control the modular synthesizers have. And while modulars are so hard to find, so expensive to purchase, and usually too large to place anywhere in your studio, MS-20 is a very compact unit, still within the range of prices (of course if you find it available for sale) affordable by common mortals.    As a "normal" synthesizer, i.e. with its prepatched options, MS-20 will offer you a great versatility. It has 2 VCOs, 2 envelopes, special Hi and Low Cut Filters, and both of them with resonance feature.
It has continuous LFO shaping and usual useful modulations. But if you are not just into making ordinary warm analog leads, or pompous deep basses, you can repatch the modules just the way you want, by inserting the cables in the provided patch bay panel. There is also an input for external sound, which can be filtered, resonated, or whose frequency can be converted to CV (Control Voltage). Thus you can play your synth by singing or whistling into a mic! The part of the price building is the fact that one who succeeds in getting MS-20 usually falls in love with its sound, possibilities and appearance, and hardly ever thinks about selling it.
